Catering is usually restricted to enlisted service providers to ensure a minimum and consistent service level. Furthermore, it’s easier for the convention center authorities to manage a handful of vetted service providers than any Tom, Dick, and Harry Caterer. Had convention centers allowed no barriers to entry, any service provider would’ve been able to enter and degrade the service level putting the convention center’s reputation at risk. Therefore, restricting catering service to enlisted providers is a good thing!
But what can you do if you can’t order from your favorite caterer?
Well, you still can! A few select convention centers allow customers to order from their selected caterer in return for a small fee called Kitchen Charge which is usually discounted by a caterer. So, it’s possible to get outside catering at no extra cost!

Capacity: 1500 (ground floor); 2000 (first floor); 600 (conference center, second floor)
Rent: BDT 350,000 (day; ground floor & first floor);
